Write the Vision

vision: the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom

In Habakkuk 2: 1-3, the prophet is instructed to write a vision, make it plain and make it so that anyone who read it would run. How many times do we scare ourselves, dreaming of our future? I know I have, on countless occasions! There are times God has spoken to me about my future and I have found it very hard to believe that God would plan such a big future for me.

As I read this verse this, I was reminded of how I used to dream of my future. How I have been discouraged by my lack of faith in what God has in store for me and my failure to trust God's appointed time!

I am no expert on writing visions but this is the vision the Lord gave me this evening and this is me writing that vision. I write this to encourage myself and anyone out there who dreams of a big future. Trust God, trust His timing, have faith and WRITE IT BIG!
